    WTB: optimal boltheads

So the arrows in my crossbow package are victory x bolts 22" which are 325 grains. Which boltheads work best with this arrow shaft? I'm looking to hunt primarily goats followed by pigs then the odd deer if i encounter one.

You will want something in 100 or 125 grain weight look at fixed blade 2 or 3 blades.

If your bolts with field tips are shooting accurately take one out and weigh that.

Another option would be for you to visit advance archery and use their advice.

My son uses 100gr Rage X-Treme mechanical broadheads on a Ravin carbon fibre arrow - 400gr total.

I’ve only watched him shoot one deer with them but he hit it front on in the lower throat area and exited just behind the left front leg. The deer barely made it 5 metres before it was down.
