Nice shooting B, was a great match with some challenging stages. Good videos, you move about 903809209283 x faster than I do :)
Yup nice shootin B.[emoji106]
Fubz moves that faster again than I do, so it doesn't bode well for me to ever catch up.[emoji1787]
But I ain't turning fully gay in order to shoot open. Just half gay in PDO[emoji16]

Unfortunately for me the winners are decided by how well they shoot and not on foot speed aye!
And there is no half gay D. Theres either full blown or nothing.... welcome to the club mate, strap up tight! :yaeh am not durnk:
Awesome BP!
Haha B, the benefit of being tall on range 2 :D
Good shooting
We need more pistol shooters in this country to share their videos like this. I’m relatively new ( only my 2nd nats this year ) and just seeing how different shooters shoot these stages is incredible. Open is it’s own class outright but a few tricks learned from that video that I could throw around in production
You had a pretty good result joel, youll be happy with that?
I have had a few stages filmed but people that seen them didn't believe they weren't filmed in slow motion and thought that letting someone with my cognitive abilities run around with a restricted firearm was irresponsible [emoji1787]

For a contrasting perspective, here’s me at the 3Gun Nats quite a few years ago... Slow a f but chucking proper bombs down range...

So if the R/O looses his pistol from the holster while he is R/Oing does he get DQed?
TBH I don’t know, it’s years since I was up with the play. His pistol wouldn’t be “ready” since he’s not the active competitor but it certainly wouldn’t be a good look. All of us that were qualified Action RO’s took turns RO’ing as the squad moved around the stages and that was typical back then. I don’t recall any RO bagging in a safety zone, there just wasn’t time. The only DQ in our squad was a dude who engaged a steel target too close because he overshot the mark a couple steps and that was enough.
Would only happen at a level 1 or club match as level 2 and above have static ro's they having usually shot the pre match.
Interesting question though, I'd say as the RO is technically not shooting the course of fire it would be treaded as if any other compeditor did it prior to load and make ready and it would just need to be picked up by another RO and given back to the embarrassed RO.
I could be proven wrong by someone with a rulebook handy, if it's even in there
