    my grand daughter just attended her first girl guide camp out of Auckland somehwere called the Hunuas - they got air rifles as a choice of activity - she choose it as one - damn proud of her and great to see that it was offered - if any on here were involved great stuff - she also chose high rope and I have a photo of her scaling what must be a 50 foot pole just with spikes okay a safety rope on but still damn brave - such a proud Grandad

    Yeh that sounds great. The Hunua Range is in the south of Auckland, has a number of dams and pretty much separates Auckland from the Waikato Region.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
