Does anyone know how to remove the part on the rhs of the frame that covers the trigger?

Hold the frame at the bottom of the grip and give the frame (where 02 is written) a sharp rap with the plastic handle end of a large screw driver and the plate will pop up. The same technique works with revolver side plates without any damage to the gun.
