    Recommendation wtd - Extended Mag Release, Kimber Gold Match 45ACP

    Any recommendations for sourcing an extended mag release button for the above? Pistol is blue but would take a silver one if all that's available.

    Probably don't need the entire Mag catch assembly but if that's what it takes...

    Drill and tap the button face, then you can fit a more suitable sized release tab/button.

    Yes I could probably do that. I'm not sure looking at it that it has a separate button. Looks like the button is just the end of the bar.

    Anyway I bought a complete catch with screw on button from Delta Mike. Unfortunately they only have silver. But I figure I could make a blue button to replace the silver one at some point. That leaves me with the original Kimber part intact. No doubt to misplace or lose over time...
    I know a lot but it seems less every day...
