Ruger mark iv 22/45 guru's

Wanting to remove the magazine disconnect, does anyone have a tandemkross blast shield or a hack to fix it, or any other tricks or tips to tune the pistol
without spending hundreds on aftermarket parts thanks

I filed down the original one so it works like the tandemkross one.

Any pictures or links on how you did it please

I filed this bit off so it no longer catches. I also cut the hook off but may not have needed to, I did put the spring back in.Attachment 267368Attachment 267369

I like the improved MK IV. I put 400 rds through this MK II today with my neighbor and his grandson off my back porch. My wife doesn't appreciate a brass floor.
