    Musket,
    If I recall correctly it is about 3" long, 1/4" wide tapered, a knob at the bottom and a curved claw at the top, I could probably make one up of I had the old one to copy, using already tempered circular saw blade as the base marerial.

    Cheers for the thought Noelfj, I considered pretty much the same thing, but the spring that was in there is pretty hefty, Much thicker and a heap more tension than my 686 "Wolf" spring .
