    Los 7-1 bolt-action rifle

Los 7-1 is a simple and reliable bolt-action rifle with a classic wooden stock, intended for medium and big-game hunting. The trigger mechanism allows to adjust the trigger pull, travel and trigger release character. The rifle has open iron sights with two fixed positions: 100m and 300m, and dovetail mount on top of the receiver for different scopes. The stock is available in birch, walnut and beech. It features sling swivels, Monte Carlo cheekpiece and rubber recoil pad.

Additional info, pictures and price can be found at Republic Arms Ltd official website.

These are available to shops; if your local retailer does not stock them, go onto the web page and you can buy on-line.

Yeah, fully understand - bit like getting a mail order bride from photos only! Vern Wilson Sports, in your area, usually buys our products and he would be a good guy to go see and ask if he is going to stock them.

They are a really nice, handy rifle. Quite light and might be a bit of a handful for anyone who finds the .308 on the heavy side - recoil wise. But very good for stalking and bush carry; very nicely balanced and points very easily.

we had a few in stock a few years back. Great rifles. Very robust and very functional. We had them selling at $1899 with a scope, rings and a second magazine so that $1516 is a very reasonable price considering it is about 8 years since we imported them.

I bought one from you, very impressive rifles. If I was only allowed one gun to last the rest of my life then this would be it. Chrome bore on a modern bolt gun!

Guys, thank you for your feed-back on this rifle; we genuinley are trying to bring the cost of shooting down for the NZ public and at the same time, support retail sellers as they are the back-bone of the industry. We are very pleased that there seems to be consensus that we have priced this firearm at a reasonable price.

Thanks for your vote of confidence in the rifle Res - much appreciated.

Hmmm have never really done any range work with it, talon arms had bore sited it so that it hit a clay at aprox 100m first shot-I don't know if it has had any adjustments since.
It sits in the safe at our family batch In The Lewis pass and gets used by a fair number of people, accounts for a few deer every year. Only tried Remington core locked ammo so I'm sure that that by trying a few or even better handloading it would be as good as any of the popular rifles.

Long story short, would buy again-especially at the price mentioned above.

    Dear all,

How is it going with your Los 7-1? Here are some interesting adapters that provide you with an opportunity to use Weaver rail.
