    Hi JW

The Nano-oil was developed by Christian St Claire for the US Army.

There is a multitude of different formulations that cover general use through to marine and military weapons like the 85W oilers.

In essence, the active molecules in nano-oil are incredibly small at around 0.09 micron in size allowing penetration not found with conventional oils.
Due to the molecule size being so small they "stick" to metal surfaces much better when heated.

The 5W is a high penetrating oil designed to get into very tight spots or penetrate rust.
The 10W is a general purpose oil that can be used on weapons or knives as well as fishing reels, locks, hinges, watches - pretty much anything that needs oil.
The 85W was developed specifically for the M14 and is a very thick formulation.

The three can also be mixed together if you require a different viscosity.
    Regards
    Terry

Don't need one, but what a nice belly on those Olivier knives, especially the 4th one down.

Might not look like it but 2 to 5 are identical blades with different handle shapes.

Still seems a blade length difference, but yes, the handles plays tricks with how you see the blade.

Was putting some posts in concrete today and the grain on one of them kept tricking me to think the post was not vertical, but spirit levels don't lie.
