    Peter Cook

More than handy as a hunter, and even more effective as a pilot.... good guy, too.

    RIP.

There was a Country Calendar programme many moons ago with him flying his machine and the narrator commenting that he was performing"aerial ballet" Never forgotten that comment.

Pete was well known in Nth Island FS hunters as a particularly crack shot with his favoured trebly.Has his name engraved consecutivly on the hunters shooting trophy for many years and no one could knock him off his perch.A bit of a freak of nature like R Macaw,he was
a natural marksman and effortlessly good at what ever he turned his hand to,eg flying a top dresser, machine etc.Was even brought back as a ring in long after he wasn't on the pay roll and could hold his own against the young guns. RIP

Spent some time shooting and gutting for him in the 1970's. A good safe pilot who was very aware of the limits
