    Shooting rabbits/magpies where other ammunition would have a risk of ricochet. Also can just be used on the range.

    It's Geco brass. I know one fella has been shooting goats with it. Though I'm not sure it can be recommend for that.

    Wondering about pulling the pill and bunging another in with some known powder... About 80c for the case and primer plus powder and pill. What's hunting 7.62x39 worth these days?

    I pulled the FMJs from a case of mil surp many years ago and replaced the projectiles with SP ...worked a treat. Did not even bother replacing the powder......weighed a few dozen of the powder charges and they were all pretty close to identical. Sold the FMJ on Trade me to people wanting to make cheap plinker ammo for the x39 and 303....

    You can order in pick up from Whanganui, they just need about a weeks notice. No paperworks required other than showing FAL on pick up.
