    Maker Projectiles

Hey, our next Maker order is being placed imminently.

We'll be bringing in a wider range this time around, to cover as many of the common cartridges as we can.

If you think you'd like to give them a try, especially if it's an unusual cal or weight you'd be after, txt/WhatsApp 0221114260 with the details and I'll make sure they get added.

The full range can be found here.

    Cheers,
    Ammo Direct

How do these compete against the 110gr Barnes?

@TeRei, they don't need to be driven as fast to open out. When they do open, you have petals / blades rather than a plain mushroom. Like being hit by a blender at mach 3.

There's two versions... One for Blackout twists and velocities. And then a "high velocity" one for 308's etc...

There's also an 85gr T-Rex for Blackouts... But I'll donate some to whoever is willing to try and get them to 4000fps in a WM/WSM/PRC and film the results on a hare or wallaby.

Some 120gn TRex to try in 708 bush pig would be handy.

Are the BCs listed g1 or g7?
Specifically asking about the 6mm 85gr.

Assume G1. And also assume that they are approximate (like Targex for example), as I can't imagine Maker have a means of testing that's as sophisticated as what the likes of Hornady or Berger are able to do. They might put hundreds down over a 1000yd range with multiple radar chronos to track the bullet throughout its flight to come up with precise G7 BC values.

Yeah BC makes very little difference to drop at short ranges, you can pretty much just guess the bc inside 400m

Excuse me. Inside 400 yards is not short range. Inside 100 is. My eyes can attest to this.
