Thread: Kimber 84 chassis- expressions of interest.

That will be tough — deciding which combination to sell to then afford the donor Kimber and the chassis. Perhaps all of them, then the decision becomes easier ?

Yep I make them for the Mini.

Managed to borrow a magazine and stripped it and it squeezes into the chassis nicely.
I don't have an action here to check the fit, but it looked about right.

Top feeding that mag will be the hassle but it is doable.

Yeah that will be a pain in the ass actually. Might have to bend open the mag lips a bit

I'm sure you know but you could probably use a small t slot cutter to put notches in the chassis so the metal hunter mag inserts locking tabs actually latch in.

Any more progress with these? Could you machine one to accept the magazine?

I'll have a look. My concerns would be removing material which is helping with stiffness, may not be enough meat for the catch, screwing up parts that are done and that the mag would sit too deep in the chassis to be able.to be grabbed easily.
Also the added machining adds to costs.
