One thing nobody has mentioned yet if accuracy is not good it pays to have a full clean back to bare steel. Get all that cup and core gilding metal fouling out..completely clean before testing...

Lapua or Norma is best if you can afford it. If you cant and want good brass, use PPU or PMC. I avoid Sellier and Bellot, Federal and Hornady.
