Its largely dependant on the weather. Hot dry will loose sheen quickly maybe an hour in direct sun mid summer. Light showers in bush up to a couple of days. Pick it up. If its warm its fresh.

Howas are wetherbys and in my opion slightly better as they have a slightly nicer stock thats piller bedded. I hate the hump back piece of shit stock on the weatherbys. All the rifles mentioned here...
