   I'll suggest the following: 125gr Nosler BT and or the 110gr Barnes TTSX.(I've used both in the past). I prefer the 110gr Barnes as you do not put any lead into meat you might end up eating. And...

   you want light recoil and minimal damage.....barnes and dont be scared to go even lighter. or slow your load down with what you have got. it sounds to me like they are doing what they are supposed to...

    Back in the Ruahine Ranges today to climb this slip I saw a deer on a few weeks back. 118125 Ranged a deer at 369 yard a few weeks ago but had to get off the Ranges and back to work,so I left it....

    I rate the .22 Remington bulk stuff on par with the Federal bulk ammo pack (555 rounds). Might shoot okay in some rifles, but useless for knock down on the critters, tiny shallow hollow point does...
