As some others have mentioned, my opinion is you would be silly to spend big dollars on your first rifle because i can almost guarantee a year from now it wont be your ideal rifle, likely it will be...

I have tried 2217 2225 and RL26 in my 7prc behind 175gr ELDX, hornady brass and FED215 primer. few things i can note - RL26 gives the best speed, not by a huge amount though, 2225 wasnt far...

2225 works better than 2217 in my 7prc so probably behave similar/same in your 7LRM

Rl26 does give a little more speed than 2225 in my 7prc with the 175 eldx, right around 50fps. Doubt the deer care its 50fps slower though & 2225 is alot cheaper & easier to find haha.

I used to hunt with rifle at "half bolt". Was taught that way by my father who removed the safety from his main rifle due to not trusting it. These days most of my rifles are tikkas and i use the...

Its never been as cheap as $60 return but the price has gone up recently since the new owners took over, and to be honest it was too cheap for too long, from a financial perspective i cant see how it...

As above, the track along the lake edge is shut has been for a long time, im sure you could still walk it but would be slow going & a long way to carry meat out if you do get something. There is more...

I do find it interesting how quick people are to bag out a creedmoor but will stand by a .270 as being a great "stop anything in its tracks" cartridge. Not having a go at the old .270 by any means...

Agreed, even though i have successfully shot deer at over 500m with my creedmoor, i certainly wouldnt recommend it, just because it can doesnt mean its a good idea or the right tool for the job. ...

Those charts are what the name implys, "equivalent" not "same". Varget/2208 and IMR4064 are very close though.
