tibo liked post by 6x47 On thread : Discussion around 7mm Magnums
7 SAUM brass is basically unobtainium. It's a cartridge often used for F-Open and brass availability is now a nightmare. As long as brass becomes commonly available, the 7 PRC looks a good option for...

My contact who lives near Cork has shot a -lot- of sika there and says most land is private but there is still some accessible public land. One thing's for sure- it's damn wet there so you need good...

If you can't track down the bits, get someone to turn up a spacer washer that goes under the turret cap. Takes a slight bit of measuring up but acts as a zero stop.

-Any- length .223 barrel is way past the safe zone for hearing unsuppressed. 14.5" is damn short and I'd guess it's the shortest you'd go without excessive loss of velocity. Clearly portability was a...

Believe me, it doesn't matter what fancy bore cleaner you use, if it's just using patches, there's no guarantee the bore will end up fully clean even when the patch comes out spotless. This is...

When it comes to bluing, Alan Carr is your man. Pissing round with nasty chemicals when you're learning isn't the best.

Drop is really not an issue with a RF so the main consideration is wind drift. At 600yds, the numbers with a 143 ELD-X (2700 v 2900) are 22.9 v 20.8. I wouldn't call 2" a massive difference, 6" maybe.
