I've read of this technique on various occasions and it amuses me. Why not just throw a slightly light charge from a basic thrower and trickle to finish? Faster than waiting for an inaccurate...

T3s are incredibly consistent in their machining/headspacing. There is a high chance the headspace will be spot on simply swapping barrels.

or if you're largely a bush hobbit and value compact/ light weight, a VX3 2.5-8 x 36 is a good choice. The Z3 Swaro as someone said is also a good choice. The former on my 7-08 Bushpig is no probs...

The 450s are the go-to primer for the smaller accuracy cases. I use them in my 6 and 6.5x47Ls as well as my 6BR. My guess is you can't go wrong with them.

This general advice is good but saying " note where they fall on the reticle.." won't work with this particular scope as it has a simple dot reticle.

Just had a Model 1 Brno redone by Alan Carr- nice work. This thing was a bit pitted and the whole action/mag a bit gummy from age/use. He sorted the lot for less than $400
