I don’t think I would risk building a custom rifle. I know of too many builds that have gone pear-shaped so I just stick with decent factory rifles. I remember reading a forum post many years ago...

Yes 150s are very effective. But those chasing the extended ranges require a higher BC, which is where slippery 168s or 178s come in. Never used 180 power points but that would be an awesome bush...

Yes I’m sceptical about the 1600fps claim as well. Can’t imagine a lot of expansion on a fallow spiker at that velocity! Time will tell but I’m wanting to believe Hornady’s propaganda :D...
