Is this a CDS type turret, hence the 'remove the turrets'... and dial in for zero? Not familiar with Z5 sorry... Does it have a zero stop that needs moving / re zeroing?

Not to say this will solve it. Wuite rarely the scope base or rings are off skew but it has to be a long way off. Likecmismatched tings or a stepped action. Even rarer the barrel can be not straight...

For what it's worth I take the turret off during zeroing as I has to be put back on lined up at the zero mark anyways

You need to take the zero stop off, its in the instructions (cant tell you how, I sold mine)
