I have never had a suppressor or a brake on any of my center fire riffles so I know nothing else. I currently have a 7mm Rem Mag and a 223 and I enjoy them both the way they are.

Waste of time owning something you are too scared to use. My new Tikka 223 with laminate stock got covered with blood all over first night out. As long as you clean the riffle well after use...

Yep agree, one of my favourite threads as well. I love the mighty 223 and may not use anything else again if my early experiences are anything to go by.
