In my defence: A. I didn't "accidentally" make that gaping big hole in it, just once I had damaged it I thought oh well its rooted now, I'll open it right up to be nosey and see how it's...

Some of you may recall I put feelers out for a more rigid stock for my model 70 a few weeks ago bonus points if it was a monte carlo style. Well after not much luck along comes me old mate...

Keep it the way it is, 145eldx or 150gn Berger, bit of practise and 500yds is easy.

Hi Sir, Your product is really amazing the reduction of recoil is massive. Great job with your muzzle breakers, I'll recommend it to my hunters friends. Dominik

I agree, leave as 270. People are getting approximately 3100fps using superformance and 145 eld x. That roughly delivers 1700ft-Ib at 500 yards which is plenty.

20” running something like the 145 ELD-X with a good load and you be away laughing.

Ive just gone back to using only a fly, no tent. I carry a trekking pole anyhow and a 3x3 is a very versatile size, plenty of pitches are possible from very simple to "tarp tent" style pitches.

Couple years back Winchester primers had some quality control issues. Lot of people ended up with gas cut bolt faces. Use them at your peril.

Magnetite, kinda depends on what you want to achieve. For most shooting (service rifle, gongs, hunting) I just load using Federal. When I shot fullbore and was looking for the last ounce off...

Test parameters: 1 - Make sure primer is not Winchester. 2 - Pull trigger on loaded case, if it goes bang, test complete.

Errrr, I dont know if I would advocate for him.... Pretty average knowledge base in my experience. I would be more inclined to use one of the OEM reloading manuals than anything he puts out.

I stocked up on 22 ammo about 3 or 4 shortages ago and figure I should be alright till the next one ? All Im short on is brass, projectiles and a rifle to shoot them in.
