Advice around here suggests your over gunned and should swap it 243 for a 223 instead. ;)

I used 140gr nbt with 2209 and 2208 and took animals from 10 to ~500 with them in tikka 708, had a 19" barrel. That combo took a lot of animals

I loose shooting my little .243 single shot, it kills everything I point it at, and very easy to shoot. I was worried about using it during the past two roars but it did the damage, can’t complain....

Shot shit tonnes of deer when we were down south with 243, mostly fallow but few reds too, most with 85gr tsx worked great
