Past up a pair last week at 100m. The freezers are OK at the moment, so let them feed away. 42558

Recently got one in 260 Rem. Very handy little rifle. Sending 129gr LRAB at 2750fps. Had wanted one for a very long time and really enjoying it after a M700 on a heavy laminate stock.

Ive only seen 1 deer in my hunting career so i would shoot the spiker as i am not after a trophy and would prefer to leave the hind to hopefully bring the numbers up

Here she is, just after giving it a bath. Spent most of the day just cleaning it, inside and out. Took it for a good long run too, runs like it was never out of service 42496

I'd only shoot one if I wanted the meat. If so then the Spiker would get it. The hind would live to provide next years Spiker. Cheers Pete

The spiker, I'm not interested in a trophy and I'll rather take more meat now and do less damage to the population in the area. just me though.

i would end up shooting the grass between them ,,, then blame my scope , then the wind , then make up a story about a yeti getting in the way .... and secretly wish I was a better shot ,
