Or just be a real man and buy a musket. It'll kill the temptation to buy suppressor-schmuppresors, or any other girly gimmicks. Did Captain Cook use a DPT or a Dan Hardy? Case closed.

7mmTom you already have lots of good advice above. I would second it. I see you mention that 7mmRM is your first rifle. Have you fired one or even better try and shoot several different makes/models....

Here's my 2 cents, my first rifle was a 7mm rem mag and I got it suppressed which made it nicer to shoot, I wouldn't say it reduced recoil much but certainly reduced the boom however it made it...

Of course if its actually a hunting rifle you could resist the temptation to be a follower of fashion and not use anything - neither are essential or arguably even useful, except perhaps if you have...

You have to wear hearing protection with a brake, you should wear hearing protection with a suppressor. If you are hunting with a dog definitely get a suppressor. The lighter your rifle is &...

I use a Zink acrylic call, and a Hammond mainly, but hell - I have a bunch of calls that all work OK. It's things like when to call, and how loud to call that is important. Apart from being where...

Private dam in Onga Onga. Last two trips produced 25 parries and 28 parries, up the Tuki tuki river. Have not shot many mallards this year, but not really targeting them.
