   While I had the scales in the workshop I put it on and it's exactly 7 pounds even So a bit on the light side for a 303 but handy in a sporting rifle that won't be shot often

   It's got the lever but the spring that holds it is very lazy I think it's broken but the pin is pretty reluctant to come out ! I will punch it out with the hydraulic press tomorrow
