I started a new butt stock for my Stevens 44 1/2 Picked out a particularly gnarly piece of walnut 136289 Spent a few hours inletting the tangs and the fiddly but that goes inside the receiver...

Nearly finished the butt stock Next it's on to the fore end hanger and then I can get that to the same stage and leave it until I make a .25-35 barrel to go with it and its own fore end. Finish...
