   I have photos somewhere of a 9mm SMLE, new bolt head machined up by a gunsmith and a barrel blank from brownells. much cheaper than a marshall precision.

   Funnily enough I had a similar idea. Being that I don't have a 22 and 9mm is cheaper to reload than 22 it would be pretty neat. Let us know how ya get on!

    Ok, so I hunt with a Carl Gustav 1900 action (Husky 8000) but a mate lost the bottom metal when he was doing a repair for me... so its a single shot... amazing accuracy with the 147 eldm and 130...
