I've only ever used "palma" small rifle primer cases in 308. Initially to keep things simple for me as I was target shooting with a 223 & 308. Small rifle primer for both made purchasing easier. ...

If you have no clearance between barrel and rifle stock then I'd look at free floating the barrel. Although you are 'resting' the stock on the rest, if the stock is touching the barrel then you are...

I wouldn't think breathing movement would give such a large variation at 35m. I'm wondering if you are resting the BARREL, rather than the stock, on the front rest? This would certainly cause...

Pretty much any small primer lapua brass that arrives in the country get snatched away. It must bring something extra to those who use such brass. As an aside, and provided you are careful on how...

Your nztopo will be set to a different format. NZTM or degrees, minutes, seconds etc. Google earth most likely just on simple lat/long. You can change this in the nz topo50 app settings if needed.

I think too some extent, a high quality shotgun, and maybe a similar grade of rifle are wasted on the inexperienced. Purely because they dont have the experience to recognise the small things or...

To dial distances reliably you need a scope which can handle to constant click adjustments plus a good zero stop. To get these things you really need to be looking at more like the 2k spend. That...

I share my DPT 22 can with my 17hmr, it's the mag setup so it quietens it right down.

If you have a reasonably powerful PCP then I'd suggest the 17HMR. The PCP will be nice and quiet and cover all bases to 70M or so, the 17 will double your effective range to 140+M. A couple of the...

A .17HMR cannot be made as quiet as a .22. It does piss all over it in every other way.
