It ought to be comparable to the 222. Try shooting them alternately side by side in the same session and see if theyre really different. I agree with you 6x45 is a in its heart a small animal...

I think that's pretty good for a restored classic sporter with modest powered scope. If its averaging outside 1 MOA for 5 shots then probably it could be improved with more work. I would look at...

I disagree. Shooting an animal at 500m is extreme. I expect flyblown could do it with a burris ( ive seen excellent 300m shooting with one) but the average shooter like me will need more like a $2000...

I've had fair dialing from cheaper scopes but the question for me is how well it still works when its 5 years and 2000 308 rounds down the track. Compared to 20 years ago, we now expect scopes to...

Excellent plan. That's a good ratio: 4 round on target for each on animals and 7 will be enough to shoot one or two or to call it a day. Good strategy to see how well they can shoot and adjust...

Weihrauch make quite a range of air rifles but the HW95 is the biggest break barrel springer at present. At the top end, they have the 85 and 95. 85 have a 500mm barrel vs 410mm for the 95 and the...

Carbine we read your post alright and credit the sense in the bulk of it but wouldn't encourage new shooters to expect to shoot animals at 500m and not with a $1000 scope.
