look I could be wrong but coming from a target background I was always taught if one has fliers up and out to left or right such as those first two -it can be a breathing problem - fliers up and down...

Yup Armour All will do it nicely - just a scrub with soapy dish washing liquid first - use old toothbrush if mud etc badly caked on - spray on Armour All -allow time for product to work maybe 30 mins...

Boiled linseed will be fine - mix a tiny amount of turps with first coat-linseed will soak in better - suggest light sand first to remove any dirt etc
