some of my kit will be lighter than Nathans, my pack weighs 1kg for example, But I always mentally struggle to limit the clothing I carry- I always take too much and find some doesn't get used.

If the deer are a problem and they want them gone or reduced then I would shoot whatever stands in front of you. If you can shoot the hind and fawn then great otherwise I wouldn't lose sleep over it...

The only truly successful system is the press bolted firmly to a solid bench. I have mine at the right-hand end, reasonably out of the way and it makes a useful coat and hat rack as well.
