fixed 3x fixed 4x or a 3x9 suits me down to the ground...I dont shoot past 300 yards more than once in a blue moon...and a red hind is still easily doable with fixed 3x at that range...for sure...

I found the Steiners very good for the money but they give up field of view width for definition in the centre. The effective FOV is reduced because of the distortion on the outside. I compared Robs...

Doubt you’ll get new Swaro cheaper in the states than here it’s one of the very few things we actually do alright on and we get Swarovski stuff at pretty competitive prices here in NZ compared to the...

Just use the Berry`s 240 grain hollow points. They are hard lead copper washed. Not great at opening up but cheap and I`m careful with my shots.

Bloody trampers eh. I think we need a tramper licensing system. Pages of background checks and paper work asking question like: “would you piss on someone on the top bunk?” “What about the...

One planet bags use the same shell for the different temp ratings too (just a different amount of down fill) so if the -3 isnt warm enough you can send it to one planet or twinneedle and they’ll add...

I used an old Parker Hale 7x57 for culling in the Scottish Highlands, great calibre. Obviously it wouldn't work now as it hadn't had lots of money spent on customising and load development, etc, etc.
