This is a great idea, a T1x is a great place to start. The factory stock can do with a few upgrades in time (I could probably help you out with a few accessories) but they work great to start with....

If nothing else I'm glad the register is getting an independent review, and a cost benefit analysis done. Everything the previous Government did regarding firearms needs to be looked at again as we...

I'm glad you've come onto the scene, I've been trying for months to get some accessories machined! Is there a preferred file type for 3d design/drawings? I don't have solid works or any of the...

Pretty much anything from 223 to 308, it may not be perfect for certain bullet weights/cartridges but it will work. Heavier bullets will be better.

We will see how it goes, the wife and I will be staying in Chch for the weekend to see some friends. Might end up needing to hire a car but likely wont be a 4wd.

I would recommend most hunters stay under 300m, unless they have actually trued their data at longer distances and have shot a reasonable amount at longer distances. I don't do a huge amount of...

gimp yeah going to give it a crack, got leave approved from work. Might be looking for someone to catch a ride from in Chch if possible, 4wd access to the range being the issue.

Why not use an inertia puller? I pulled a bunch of 260 projectiles and it was quick and easy, if you pack the end out so the projectile doesn’t come the whole way out (I used an ear plug) you...

I'd try 162 (or 180) ELD-Xs. Accuracy issues with the ABLRs are not uncommon.
