   that mirrors my experience too crc and a wipe took mine off I get that on most of my rifles bar the ones with a chrome finish (ruger and tikka bolt handles)

    they are about on par with my stainless kimbers or trueflight barrels for corosion levels tikka are slightly better when you say rust you mean the slight browning that happens on the lower parts...

    nothing wrong with tikka if you want a light workhorse I cant see the benifit of spending big money on them, plenty of sakos on trademe for less than what they are asking including a pretty nice 308...
