I've done that as well. I used to carry a piece of brass rod around about 100mm long for a ss rifle that the cases would stick in the chamber drop it down the barrel an out the case would pop out....

just annealed and loaded my first fireformed rounds for the k hornet. Also annealed some 243 and 6.5 grendel. Got some 223 to anneal next
