   I carry a range finder. If im sitting watching an area I practice guesing the distance of things and then check with range finder

   I find good old possum shooting good practice for off hand shooting. Although usually close every shot is a little bit different angle distance etc

   At night time possum shooting I have a 1.5-5 on 22. That gets used on 1.5x. To much mag at night time can be a pita to find target..

   If none of that works try holding the case as high as it will go in the shell holder and slip a feeler guage under it so theres no up and down movement. Remove decapping rod and size.

    Something I have run into is the case having to much up and down movement in the shell holder. Shell holder touches bottom of die and case movement is enough to stop shoulder being bumped back enough.
