Yes suppressors are not hearing safe , I said that already, that was my point. This makes them less hearing safe yes?. and for the sake of some recoil reduction. Recoil wont hurt you, very loud...

They "become useful" in that they reduce recoil more than just a suppressor whilst still reducing noise to a level that doesn't cause your ears to bleed. You should probably still use ear pro with a...

Were do these actually become usefull? We know suppressors are not hearing safe in standard form so Im assuming the addition of of the break cap would definitely mean hearing protection? If you...

[QUOTE=John Duxbury;1610912]I dont understand the .243 detractors. I have never found the boundaries of it. I can't see where I would shoot a deer with a .308 that would kill it when the .243...

Quickest kills I have had with the .243. The 95 grain BT is a great bullet. As is the 85 grain Sierra HPBT; and drive them as fast as you can.

This discussion has more value than polarising shooters opinion of the 223. It could be useful for anyone considering their next mountain rifle, tahr cartridge, moose killer etc. It has definitely...

I mean why does anyone jump into any discussion on the internet, really? including the "I've never used .223 with heavy bullets but I don't think it will work" crowd. Why share the opinion
