well I would have lost money......I would have bet on you using something .270/7x57/30-06 with big fat round nose....and here you have gone over to the dark side using an EBRG and modern sleak...

It's impressive country. I am boiling out the skull for a euro type mount. Just skull and antlers.

Went to the Arawhata for the second period. One of our group got both the biggest trout and the oldest stag I ever saw. Rabbits for Africa. Nasty sandflies. Two days of enforced rest in a small tent...

Had a strong SW wind here today. The fallow were in a North facing gully with a bit of dappled sunlight in the bush but not far from the bushline. Missus got this fella. 222069 For those of you...

They have small territories, won’t go far when spooked. I’ll often follow up a spooked one, and get another opportunity for a shot. I see them more in the morning than the evening. They’re not...

Why don't you just drive it from storage to the block each time? Seems silly farting around towing it back and forth when you can just ride it, 4kms isn't very far

Keep it simple. A T3, Rem 700 or similar in .308, .7mm08 cut to 16-18 inches with a DPT mod and a 1-6 or 3-9 scope. Keep your .270 for tops work and you have all angles covered.
