    I got level 6 ECWCS in m81 for around $200nzd shipped from Ebay in 2016. Still had tags on it. You could try looking for a DDPM one which uses MVP a goretex analogue, they're pretty cheap.112790

    I second this , I’ve had one for a few months and I agree about the breathing qualities . My son has actually grabbed it to take to Europe this month on a 3 week hiking trip .

    I picked up my Goretex jacket from Kathmandu in one of their end of season sales. It's a pleasing "military" green in colour and was about $250. They have a sale on now, so worth a look.

    Why not check out Macpac when they have a sale on (99% of the time) They have genuine goretex jackets. If it's for the hunting you say, they'll be fine. Another good option is the Milair NZ military...

    If it is any help, almost every older 303 I have shot, has shot better with flat bottom bullets than boat tails. One does like boat tails but it is a much more modern rifle.
