I'm not rubbishing the Norinco's, but I'm no DIY rifle handyman :) And knowing me; would probably balls up a re-crowning etc! The cheapest Norinco I could find was $299 online, and $349 in-store....

Well I ended up buying a new Savage MkII from Wilson's in Wanganui. It only cost $359 so cheaper than most of the used ones on TM. I can't pick it up for 3-weeks-ish as I broke my ankle (plate and...

I often go to the saleyards and hear drystock farmers saying that people should be wearing more wool. While wearing their farm fleece tops...... ;)

And I thought I had put the painful childhood memory of the white woolen short-sleeved singlets that I'm pretty sure were made of sandpaper, that my mum made me wear to primary school, behind me. I...

I had a 2.5x old steel Weaver on my 303. Would be 25-30-years old. But have changed it to a 2-7 Nikon Prostaff because my 57-year old eyes don't like a 2.5 when sighting in at 100m anymore!
