    On the Sako they are driven onto tapered dovetails not mounted to a round action top. Punching up from bottom will destroy the rail and possibly the action also!

    Loctite let's go at over 100 deg c. If it's an Geraldine or epoxy putty that could be more. But even then 150degc isn't that hot. I doubt very much you would do it any harm if using a heat gun.

    I’ve got a 260 carbonlight, with optilocks, 3.5-10 x 40 vx3 and DPT it’s about 7lb. Light as fu*k and balances well. Shot a few deer with it now and I like the caliber.
