   You could get 1 made that was an extension so the internal and external threads don't interfere with each other, problem is that would add 20-25mm of length and extra wobble.

   You'll be hard pressed to get that size, the core of M14x1 is 12.9mm so that leaves bugger all once you put a 1/2" (12.7mm) thread in in.

   I'd probably give up on the Barnes bullet, they are pretty expensive and probably not the easiest to tune compared to something like the Nosler 100gr BT. If you don't have the money/time to tinker...

    Just bear in mind they made a 1 in 11.5 twist 7mm08 for a year in the m7. Which my mates sons one is. I've got a stainless one and it loves the 160gr TMK. Doing a mild 2413fps from a 16" barrel....
