There's loads of aluminium receiver rifles. AR15s, BLRs, the Seekins Havak Element, bat machine make aluminium bench rest actions, blasers. The strength is really only required in the barrel, the...

The two initial cartridges are 6.5 PRC (COAL up to 2.955") and 300 PRC (COAL up to 3.700"), so presumably they have two action lengths in production ?

Yep agreed. It seems there's several new rifle models going for this design style. I'll take a classic sporter style any day.

One of the boys I taught had a grandfather that ordered a Browning shotgun from Belgium. He died before he shotgun turned up. When the family received the shotgun they chucked it on the tractor and...

Ive got a 17" 284 win running 162's thats got plenty enough grunt to 700 yards. A 7mm or 300 Saum would also be fine at 20 inch. People have done 20" 7mm Rem Mags which go fine. 300 wsm as...

18" .308 running 168gr eldm @ 2670fps seems to do a bit of this and that at any range, much better than sst at close range. Just wouldn't use it on a red at 15m in the roar apart from that it's the...

Greetins All, I think I have part of the answer to that question. My No4 with a near new two groove barrel often shoots MoA groups with the 174 grain Round Nose Hornady and light loads. It is...

You need to cut around the rectum etc from the outside before pulling the guts out. That was my job at the meatworks during varsity holidays, doing 1085 sheep per shift! You need a knife four inches...

They say they have a patent pending design on the rifle. I do not know what are the details of the patent but it surely can’t be on how the barrel is fixed as that has been done by sauer and rosler...

The Brits can be shockers for babying their rifles and getting in a tizz if it gets scratched. There’s a particular UK sub-culture of occasional recreational stalkers who buy rifles primarily for...

One thing I’ve actually noticed is that I can shoot my best groups using a scope in the 4x-10x range. Higher mag makes for more concentration needed to keep the rifle still and can actually be...
