6.5 creedmoor falls well inside those parameters man. Even with long barrels 140's are only going to be going high 2800's. Well short of your energy targets also

I'd rather the 2900 fps in a 168 gr in a nice compact 18 inch rifle. Which is what 300 wsm will do with RL17.

Sounds like the 100 has a few first gen quality/design issues. Be interesting to see the second gen. Early adopters often come across this. The tikka is tried and true. You know what you will get...

I have an 85 Deluxe Frodo and depending on taste etc and how good the photos are I would say the wood on mine is every bit as good the two above, it's outstanding. Sako do some good wood alright....

We are hunting plains game. He was after .270 or 30-06 so that he could use the rifle on his return to NZ (375 H&H not so much). Those other models don't have the same wood/blue features he is after....
