Try a 2 inch softbait with a 2.5g jig head, with 4 or 6 pound mono and a 2-10g 7 foot rod You can fish blindly or sight fish with the same setup

Cut a clothes dryer anti-static pad into inch square pieces and drop that into the media. Makes it last way longer before it gets too dirty to work well. Change out the squares as required.
