Yes, it’s cheaper, yes, it’s more accurate But that’s hardly surprising given 100’s of thousand rounds of ammo per run. ( commercially ) Handloading means you can be more precise on every round...

take out shot,wad AND powder...the primer is loud enough on its own...but be carefull as others have pointed out.... now Im not entirely sure of the legality of the next suggestion...but Ive seen it...
