   I had a metford long Tom action original with the thumb safety. It had a early Enfield 10 shot mag. Originally probably was a flush 5 shorter though. In my opinion the 5 shot mags do not look right.

   slip on recoil pad.......hold rifle firmly....yes with offside hand on forestock and try it again. your rifle should be plurry near dead on at 25 yards reguardless of sights....have you taken out...

    It depends on ones ability & eyesight. i've got a mini actioned Howa with 3-9 scope & can consistantly knock over goats & odd deer out @ 200 mtres, but wouldn't want to shoot @b that distance too...
