This. Two extra tricks. - Put an unprimed case in the breech and bore sight through this. - The target boresighted for is best round and just short of filling the "muzzle ring". Think soccer ball...

He says elsewhere he uses the standard 3% antiseptic stuff. I'd not go higher as the solution already seems a bit borderline fast.
